Avik Das - President & Founder
My passion for finance began long before I entered the professional world. Growing up, I was exposed to the value behind financial literacy and investment opportunities through various methods — an experience that shaped my belief in financial independence and smart investing. I learned early on that money isn't just about numbers; it's about freedom, security, and opportunity.
Early on, I built a diverse personal investment portfolio including but not limited to, stocks, options, and real estate. But the real reward wasn’t just the financial return — it was the realization that anyone, regardless of age or background, can take control of their finances with the right guidance and education. That realization led me to launch Das Financial Consulting.
Through this firm, I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of individuals — from students managing their first paycheck to retirees rethinking their savings strategies — make informed financial decisions. Whether it's budgeting, investing, or planning for the future, my goal is to simplify the complex and make personal finance approachable for everyone.
In addition to consulting, I am a Bachelor of Commerce - Finance Major from the University of Alberta. I’ve also worked in banking and financial services, gaining hands-on experience in investment operations, market analysis, and client relationship management.
